Today is our 3 year anniversary. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful husband who works so hard and to have two precious daughters with him. I know when we first got together there was alot of people who didn't think it would last....and I think a couple who didn't want it to. But we have been together 3 years now and our relationship is stronger than ever. The last 3 years have been the best and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with him :)

2 Month Checkup

Mallorie had her 2 month checkup yesterday on 03-22-2011. She was 2 months and 2 days old and weighed 10 pounds 10 ounces and was 22 3/4 inches long. When I got home I looked back at Mads baby book to see what her stats where on her 2 month checkup and she was 12 pounds 3 ounces and 23 inches long :) She was always a very very very good eater. Her shots went good she only cried for a minute. No fever  and was less fussy last night than usual. However her poor little legs are very sore :(

5 Ounces!!

Mallorie is now up to eating 5 ounces at every feeding...I know this is good but shes already growing up toooo fast. She usually burps after the first 2-3 ounces and then eats the rest and burps again. I can remember when Maddie was little and drank out of a bottle :) Now shes running around getting her cup out of the fridge all by herself.

My Smile Thingy

So Maddie got a Vtech Camera for Christmas...its the kid one that is like coated in Rubber and for good reasoning....she drops it all the time. Well she has these plastic binoculars that came in some toy set she got for Christmas and she was carrying them around today..When I asked her what she was doing she said Playing with my Smile Thingy...I said Mad thats not your camera...She said I know mom Cheeeeesssseee :) It was too cute.

So Thankful....

I came across a blog the other day that someone had posted the link to on their facebook. This family had a beautiful 4 month old little girl named Madison...that they called Maddie. She passes away unexpectedly on February 17th (my bday). It made me think of just how lucky I am and how you should never take things for granted. My Maddie is 2 almost 2 1/2 now and I can't imagine what that mother is feeling loosing her baby at 4 months old....I can't imagine not having Maddie around now. Mallorie is only a month old now....it makes me so scared that something like that could happen to her...I know I complain when she gets up before 6 in the morning or when she fusses for no reason (she has a touch of colic) but I know I would super super miss all of that if something happened. I am ever so thankful for my two beautiful girls and my wonderful husband. I pray that this family that lost their beautiful angel will find comfort somehow...
