Tractors...or as Maddie says it...Cackers

This past weekend we took Maddie to the Farm Machinery Show in Louisville then to Hooters to eat and to Bass Pro Shop where she LOVES to see the fish in the little river and the big tank :) We didn't take Mallorie, we felt Maddie was in need of some time as the only child again...even if it was only for a day.

Mallorie is a month old today....its amazing how fast time flies. For the last two nights she has slept at least 6 hours at a time so I have been a very happy mommy :)

Maddies opinion on her new sister....

Well...Maddie came up to me the other day and said "Mommy get rid of her," I thought she was talking about Dorsey, Nosey or Missy... I said "Who Baby?" She said "My baby siser," (As I laughed out loud) "Where do you want me to take her?" She replied, with a matter of fact tone, "To the doctor Mom!"

I guess I couldn't get lucky enough for her to just absolutely love her and like her everyday :) But Mallorie is almost a month old and Maddie is just now telling me to get rid of her so we've done pretty good :)

February is Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Month

Today is Heart Awareness Day...Hope everyone wears Red!!!! We have a family member who was born with this and would like everyone to take the time to say a prayer for him :) Jaden is really a miracle...and is definitely the strongest person I know :)

Last weekend we went out to eat and bowling. It had been 6 days since I had been out of the hospital and 8 days since I had Mallorie. The girls stayed home with my friend Ashley so we didn't have to get them out.

Whats been happening lately...

We haven't been out and about much, there has been an awful stomach bug going around and the flu so I have kept the girls inside but of course I still take pictures everyday :)
